- Monnaies Médailles 17 is a commercial establishment created by Mr Cooche in 1986 and was, in the beginning, specialised in philately.

- The shop was taken over in 2000 by Mr Grégoire Boulommier-Leroux, who was initiated and formed in numismatics by Mr Louis Floriant, an experienced collector and also co-founder of “The collectors Exchange” in Paris.

We would also like to thank Mr Floriant Frédéric from the shop “Au Papier monnaie” in Nantes for his welcome and his sensible advice about the world of numismatics.

- Monnaies Médailles 17 is always on the outlook for collections to satisfy our clients and collectors.
  We are specialised in different types of collections, which are as follows:

- In view of our geographical situation we are always on the outlook for coins, medals, tokens, banknotes or any other historical object having been struck in the town of La Rochelle.

- The shop, Monnaies Médailles 17, is situated at 20 rue Gargoulleau, in the centre of La Rochelle, between La Place de Verdun (underground car park which is ideal for parking) and La Place du Marché (covered market hall dating from the 19th century).

           Monday: 2.30pm- 6.30pm
           Tuesday to Friday: 9h30am-12h00am / 2.30pm-6.30pm
           Saturday: 9.30am-12h00am
